On October 31th in Prishtina, the 6th National LFM Network meeting was organized by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, and Rural Development (MAFRD) in collaboration with the Regional Fire Monitoring Center (RFMC).
Participants from various sectors, including science, practice, policy and civil sector attended the meeting, providing feedback in advanced stage of LFM Strategy.
The latest progress in developing the LFM Strategy was presented to the stakeholders, providing an overview of the structured content of the Strategic document. Participants have showed high level of interest in the presented progress and took active participation in discussion and drafted recommendations to this important strategic document that addresses the landscape fire challenges.
The collaborative spirit underscored the importance of transforming the strategy into tangible actions. The insights and plans from this meeting will guide future actions, moving us closer to a resilient and well-protected landscape.
Funded by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) and coordinated by Farmahem from Skopje with backstopping support from Helvetas, this event marked a significant step towards finalization of the Strategy for Adaptive Landscape Fire Management.
